I have been to war and was lucky to come back, I feel for those who have to go, those who are caught in the midle, and even nature. Think about it war advances many of the technologys that you use today. I was not born in the US but,I'm working on a masters in mental health, I see lots of citizens that all they do is bitch and moan and do nothing to change or improbe their condition. Jan 4, 2009 - You make some good points even if I disagree with some but one of the most ironic you haven't touched on is the fact that some people want peace but understand the need for a powerful military like myself. I don't feel that the military can guarantee peace but it does deter some factions from starting trouble. That said, there must be balance; there's no point to having a grand force if there's nothing to defend at home.
