Plus, like you said, huge lip rings (or any sort of ring) doesn't necessarily fit everybody... in your case your all's lips are small. I'm in the midst of gauging my ears.I used to work with a guy who had snake bites (closer together than yours, though) and his bottom lip was huge, so he could pull off like a 12g or so. My lip gauge is 14, segmented (love the seamless/segmented look!).
