Dec 28, 2008 - ur specs r cool!!aite, my cpu is 2.4gHz stock, ive o'ced it to that number. Urs at the other hand, is higher by stock. Basically, a core 2 duo is 3gHz stock but a better core 2 quad is 2.4gHz stock. Yet the c2q is better because it has a lower gHz count but it has better front side bus speeds and higher cache count compared to the c2d. So, that reletively explains your question. the point is that gHz doenst always matter, its the overall performance and rating of the cpu that really matters.
