On CBS2 Evening News with Katie Couric, Plaxico Burress Shot himself in the thigh at a nightclub during the Thanksgiving Weekend.He turned himself in to police this morning in New York City and pleaded "not guilty" to possessing the Gun. Burress's Attorney Benjamin Brafman, wrote an e-mail on Sunday that he was advsed Burress will be charged after acidently shooting himself in the right thigh at a Manhattan nightclub on Friday Night.Burress's contributions to the Giants no longer outweigh his shenanigans that detract from the team.Thanks to the Chicago Tribune for most of the Words.Now the question is... Burress is looking at jail time and after the Giants played without him @ Washington, can they still win games without their hero of Super Bowl XLII?

You take a class, you learn gun safety,you get a license to carry.I'm all for carrying a concealed weapon - I always do - but there are rules. These guys need to learn to respect the rule of law as well as the rules of their games.

He was dumb to have shot himself. They should teach them how to handle a gun. He should've had a permit for the gun.
