Dec 9, 2008 - I don't have this device but I want it; on Pinnacle's website it says that it needs to be a 4GB flash stick or greater to get the best quailty (720 X 480) Have you tried that?

Dec 14, 2008 - This is using a 1GB FAT/32 high speed flash drive.I now use the same make and model but at 4gb because using my different model 8gb was not recording (shown on good quality vid).Dont know if it was the flash stick speed or size.

Dec 26, 2008 - What if I just swipe my old iPod 30 gb video and use the USB 2.0 connection, and fill its disk space to store my game films? However the issue seems to be that your flash stick might have been transferring the data slower. (which the manual says that on high it will) The slower the data transfer, the lesser the quality. So in theory, I really don't understand how if you use a larger flash drive it will affect the video quality, only the capacity at which you can record longer amounts of video.

Dec 27, 2008 - Im spliting my video/audio signals into my T.V and a capture card (The pinnacle video transfer). I then insert a USB stick into the capture card and press record.I t then records onto the USB stick which I insert into the port on the the computer.(Sory for the late response I had responded before just forgot to opost it =~)

Dec 27, 2008 - Yes thats right.A larger flash stick only inceases the capacity however some flash sticks transfer the data at a different rate therefore resulting in a different qualtiy. When I uploaded this I was unaware that the 'High Quality' option does not appear straight away.
