The people(s) of Afghanistan have been torn apart on so many fronts, from rival fundamentalists such as the Taliban or the Northern Alliance, and from foreign invasions by the US, the Soviets, and the Brits.It's a bit late to re-draw the map, but the borders of Afghanistan, drawn by the Brits when they lost, are very artificial. The Afghanistan-Pakistan border especially is recognized by neither the Baluchis nor the Pashtos, the two major ethnic groups which inhabit that region.
