From Bob's Boots:http://www.bobsboots.com/CdS/cd-w34.htmlReview:The historical importance of the Witmark Demos cannot be overstated. They belong in every serious collection. They were performed in the publisher's New York office (and a few in CBS studio NY) only to document a recorded version of each song for publishing and demonstration. Mainly recorded during July 1962 and early 1963, there were also a few recorded in 1964. The casual fan might find the recordings a little stiff and uninspired because of their origin and purpose. The quality is great, however. This set represents the known office recordings. The package is wonderful, and the songs have been put in chronological order according to the dates they were recorded.
