Dec 7, 2008 - the game is a nightmare in terms of fps for pc users.. i dont know what kind of systems rockstar tested this on but it really is one of the 'future' games nobody will run at more than 60fps till next couple years. Its very much a CPU and RAM whore than the GFX card. Quad Core intels and 4GB+ of RAM seem to run it fairly well. I have a Core2 Duo 2.6, a Geforce 8800GTS 640mb and 2GB of 800mhz RAM, and i average 26fps on the benchmark.

Dec 15, 2008 - Actually the older 8800GTS and 9600GSO both have 96 stream processors, but the new 8800GTS has 128 stream processors. As far as video memory goes, which apparently is important according to Rockstar, the new 8800GTS has 512MB and the 9600GSO has 384MB.

Jan 6, 2009 - bro i have 9600 gso..im thinking upgrading my 1GB 667 ram to 2gb 667..or shud i go for a 2GB 800mghz??will there be much of a difference?plz answer soon..my motherboard doesnt support over 2gb..
