Just recently I upgraded to a Yamaha YPG 625 (basically the same but with weighted keys). The first time I heard "Clocks" by Coldplay I thought it was the coolest sounding song ever; the piano just really got my attention, I thought well I have a piano, I would love to learn that, so I learned that one by ear, changed it over time and wala, there it is...all goes to Chris Martin of Coldplay. I have a lot of respect for him, and really didn't even get addicted to Coldplay until I saw the X&Y live leak on Mtv back in '05. So I started learning tons of coldplay sounds after September 18, 2005 which is when I saw them in concert. If those things didn't happen, I don't know where I would be. Soon I also began to like The Killers once I heard "somebody told me", and now the Fray one I heard "over my head". Songs like that just jumped out at me and stuck out from all others. Thats how I begin to like a new band. Some of the stuff I learn is by sheet music or ear, some both. The Killers are now a very big influence. AIM: stupidebayguy
